gofile.is is committed to keeping the Service free of illegal and abusive content. This Abuse Policy explains what is not allowed and how to report content that violates our rules. This document is a template provided as a starting point and does not constitute legal advice.

What counts as abuse

Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to: child sexual abuse material (CSAM), content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights, malware and other malicious software, content that promotes violence or terrorism, fraudulent or phishing material, and any content that violates applicable law.

How to report

If you believe content hosted on gofile.is violates this policy or the law, email [email protected] with the direct link to the content and a short description of the problem. For copyright claims, please follow the process described in our DMCA policy and include all the information required there.

What we do

We review every report. Content found to violate this policy is removed, and accounts responsible for violating content may be suspended or terminated. We ban repeat offenders and cooperate with the relevant authorities when the law requires it. CSAM is reported to the appropriate authorities without exception.

Response time

We aim to acknowledge reports within 72 hours and to act on valid reports as quickly as possible. Reports involving CSAM or an imminent risk of harm are prioritized and handled immediately.
