These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of gofile.is (the "Service"). By uploading, downloading, or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms. This document is a template provided as a starting point and does not constitute legal advice.

1. Acceptable use

You may use gofile.is to store and share files for lawful purposes only. You are responsible for all content you upload and for ensuring you have the rights to share it. You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in any manner other than through the interfaces we provide.

2. Prohibited content

You must not upload, store, or distribute any of the following through the Service:

Illegal material

Any content that violates applicable law, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), which is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the relevant authorities.

Malware and harmful code

Viruses, trojans, ransomware, or any other malicious software intended to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.

Copyright infringement

Content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated. See our DMCA policy for details.

3. File retention and deletion

Files uploaded on the free tier are automatically deleted after a period of inactivity. Paid plans retain files for as long as the plan remains active. We may remove any content at any time if we believe it violates these Terms.

4. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms, abuse of the Service, or conduct we deem harmful to the Service or its users.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any files will be preserved. You use the Service at your own risk.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, gofile.is shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
