Filing a copyright complaint
If you believe that content hosted on gofile.is infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our designated agent at the contact address below. To be valid, your notice must include all of the following:
Required elements of a valid notice
1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
2. Identification of the infringing material, including the specific location or
URL of the file on gofile.is so we can locate it.
3. Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email
address.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is
not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice
is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the
owner's behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notices
If you believe your content was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address. A valid counter-notice must identify the removed material and its prior location, include your contact information and signature, and contain a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, along with your consent to jurisdiction.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances, gofile.is will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright.
